Using FileZilla to upload my website

FileZilla is open source FTP software distributed free of charge under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Website: http://filezilla.sourceforge.net
Download: http://filezilla.sourceforge.net (select Filezilla Client)

Configuration settings:

  1. Open FileZilla
  2. Enter Host: (your-domain.com or IP address)
  3. Enter User ID: (FTP username as per konsoleH)
  4. Enter Password: (FTP password as per konsoleH)
  5. Select Connection port: 21
  6. Click ‘Quick Connect’
  7. Once connected, double click on the public_html directory
  8. Transfer your website files into the public_html directory

Note:The main page must be named ‘index.html’
